At the end of this course you will be equipped to apply for jobs within the airline and hospitality industry. You will be given advice, guidance and help on how and when to apply for airline positions.

This excellent training programme provides you with relevant skills and qualifications. You will have access to staff with airline experience, and the use of cabin crew training facilities. The course provides a realistic environment to demonstrate the skills needed for a career as a cabin crew member or working on the ground at an airport.
What do I need to apply
To do this course you should have...
You will need to be 17+ to apply fo this course, with a minimum entry requirement of 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English and maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) and science for some programmes. Alternatively successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification and have achieved a Level 2 Functional Skill in English and maths.
What about work experience?
Opportunity to shadow at a local airport, together with visiting an Airline Training rig.

Costs
The fee for this course is £450 for 18 - 19yr olds to include uniform, ed visits as well as additional qualifications in first aid, customer service and food hygiene all vital for future employment.

Course content
Course Content
You should have excellent communications skills, good leadership potential and a cheerful nature. Knowledge of a foreign language is desirable but not essential. This course is suitable for mature learners aged 17+ considering a career change and is a two term programme beginning in September.
The subjects studied include:
• Role of Air Cabin Crew
• Safety and Emergency procedures on board and on the ground
• Interview techniques
• First Aid at Work
• Food and Drink Service VRQ2
• Level 2 Food Safety
During the course you will be required to wear an airline style uniform for some training aspects and you will be subject to the same discipline that an airline would impose. You will have access to staff with airline experience, the use of cabin crew training facilities and a swimming assessment.
