From gyms to gourmet restaurants to coffee shops and hair salons, there’s plenty going on. Both Bournemouth and Poole campuses have Costa Coffees and canteens, offering social spaces to relax in during breaks and down-time. Bournemouth campus has a state-of- the-art gym, fully equipped with all the equipment a fitness-fanatic could need. Run by students on catering and hospitality courses, the Escoffier Restaurant offers gourmet dining for lunches and evening meals, and themed meals throughout the year. Students and the public are all welcome to book in for a unique dining experience. ReNew Hair and Beauty Salons are staffed by students and offer unbeatable prices for haircuts, styling and beauty treatments, all while helping a student complete their training. Open to the public, you’ll be able to treat your friends and family to treatments too! BPCSU is our students’ union and students can get involved in events, volunteering and social activities throughout the year. They can also access support services if required. There are also plenty of facilities available to support students their studies – access to learning resources online and in our libraries, as well as computers if required. Although the courses offered at The College are heavily based on technical training, all students will have elements of their courses which require academic thinking too.
