The BPCSU Volunteering week was a huge success with over 1000 students taking part over the week. Students were able to take part in First aid sessions from the British Red Cross where they were taught valuable lifesaving skills. This also enhanced their CV to be more attractive to volunteering organisations. Students were able to create a pledge, in which they agreed to volunteer over the next year.

Bournemouth & Poole College are proud to announce that they have been recognised by the Carers Federation and achieved the Quality Standard in Carer Support accreditation.
This accreditation recognises The College’s continued work to support carers, provide them with equal opportunities along with any additional support they may need. The College has worked hard to gain this accreditation – including working to maximise retention of students who are also carers, providing them with the best possible education and start to their careers.
The College’s highly-regarded HR & Management courses lead successful students to new highs in their careers, with many gaining promotions, starting their own businesses and gaining new confidence in their roles.
We recently heard from Paula Walls, who completed the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management. This in itself is a great accomplishment, and she has used it (along with our free online course – Level 2 Business Start-Up) to launch her own HR consultancy business.
Bournemouth & Poole College are proud to congratulate three colleagues who have been recognised as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts. This prestigious achievement reflects The College's continued investment in staff and its digital strategy.
