Bournemouth & Poole College have announced its plans to support home educated students who were unable to receive exam grades this year. 

With exams being cancelled due to COVID-19, many home educated students found themselves in a difficult situation as they were unable to receive centre assessed grades. Bournemouth & Poole College have introduced new plans to support these students and ensure that they can continue to progress.

Results of the 2019/20 National Student Survey are in, and Bournemouth & Poole College exceeded the national average! With an overall satisfaction of over 84%, we’re delighted that our students are getting the most out of their time at the College. 

The National Student Survey gives students the opportunity to provide honest feedback about university/college. The survey gathers information about their time in Higher Education, from what the teaching and learning support has been like to the community aspects of their studies.

Bournemouth & Poole College is delighted to announce that its been ranked number one for its English and Maths provision. 

Out of 162 colleges across the country, Bournemouth & Poole College came out on top in the National Achievement Rate Table for its GCSE English and Maths- scoring 14% above the national average! Produced annually, the latest figures cover education and training for 16-18-year olds in the academic year of 2018-19.

Bournemouth & Poole College are delighted to announce that its first Degree Apprentices have successfully completed their end point assessment.  

Among the successful apprentices is Ed Holbrook. Ed is the first level 6 Manufacturing Engineer degree apprentice to complete his course that is run in partnership with Cobham and Bournemouth University.
