Bournemouth & Poole College is urging adults who are considering embarking on a new career in 2019, or looking to gain new qualifications to enhance their job opportunities, to attend its New Year, Fresh Start event on Thursday January 10 from 3.30-6.30pm at its Poole site.

The complimentary event will provide attendees with access to expert careers advice from many curriculum areas, and the opportunity to find out more information about the range of courses that are available for candidates to enrol onto in the New Year.

The College has welcomed year 10 students from The Grange and Twynham schools for a day learning about electronics within engineering. Pupils were given a tour of the College’s impressive Engineering facilities, met current students and apprentices, and experienced what Engineering at the College is all about.

A Health and Social Care student from Bournemouth & Poole College was presented with an accolade at the Daily Echo Proud to Care Awards. Amy Brewer Smith, 20, a Level 3 apprentice at the College, won the Apprentice of the Year category of the awards, which aim to recognise the individuals, businesses and care homes who go out of their way to improve the lives of others.

Bournemouth & Poole College are delighted to announce that Uniformed Public Services (UPS) student, Adam Dufresne, has won the Association of Colleges (AoC)'s prestigious national Young Student of the Year Award.

Bournemouth & Poole College has launched a mid-year intake for its digital marketer apprenticeship, to support the extra demand for the course. 

Due to the high demand both from employers in the digital marketing sector and students wishing to apply to the course, the College is currently accepting applications for a February 2019 start.
