Studying at Bournemouth & Poole College isn’t just about your course – there’s far more to it than that.
BPC Xtra encompasses all of the extra opportunities you can take advantage of throughout your time with us. From sports activities and live brief work to daytrips and international visits, there’s something extra for everyone.
Depending on the subject you choose to study, there are different opportunities available - some are available to all students (like our fantastic Student Welcome Fest), while others are specifically chosen for you and your classmates to enjoy.
Examples of activites over recent years include:
- A trip to Disneyland Paris for Business and Tourism students
- Trips to BFX Festival and Centre VR for students studying IT
- Forensic investigations at a Crime Suite for students on Science courses
- An opportunity to gain the John Muir Award for progression students
- A visit to Poole Magistrates Court for students studying Criminology, Psychology and Law
- An emergency evacuation exercise at Bournemouth Airport, involving student volunteers on aviation related courses
- A chance to gain a St Johns First Aid qualification for students on Health and Social Care courses
