We are pleased to announce our winner of our very first Bournemouth & Poole College Star of the Month – Keith Ball. This award is a fantastic chance to recognise the contributions staff have made, and their unwavering dedication in going above and beyond to enhance the student experience here at The College.
An incredible 44 nominations were submitted and reviewed by our staff judging panel for our Star of the Summer award.
Keith has been responsible for a number of system changes and data moves over the summer to ensure that everything was ready for the start of term. With the introduction of ProSolution this person was responsible for moving all of the data. This included:
- Changing the course codes and copying resources
- mybpc/Moodle migrations
- Learning Environment induction changes
- New systems info and How To’s
He has shown tremendous dedication to achieve this. This was coupled with coping with the demands of his role and continuing to provide a first-class service to staff whilst supporting them to develop their courses and monitor progress.
He always takes time for other people and does all of this with a smile on his face!
Our Marketing team spoke to Keith, who was very pleased to receive his award:
“How wonderful it is to receive this award in recognition for all of the work carried out over the summer. Really, I receive this award on behalf of the Digital Education team too as we all worked together to ensure Moodle, ProMonitor and other systems were ready for the start of the new academic year.
It’s great to receive appreciation from colleagues across college, and much appreciated.”
Keith received a prize of a £60 Amazon Voucher and an additional day of annual leave.
