Sunseeker International, Poole's largest employer and proud employer of Apprentices with Bournemouth & Poole College, is recruiting 50 new technical apprentices to join their team at its shipyards across Dorset.
Successful applicants will kick-start their career in the global marine industry, studying to become highly skilled in a range of yacht construction disciplines.
Taught over four years at Level 3, the apprenticeship positions include attendance at Bournemouth & Poole College's Marine Technology Centre alongside on-the-job training at Sunseeker's Poole and Portland shipyards. Apprentices will learn skills including carpentry, composites, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
The programme enables apprentices to earn while they learn from some of the best yacht builders in the industry and our own highly-skilled tutors here at The College. Upon completing of the apprenticeship programme, there are a huge range of opportunities for career development - in fact, many members of the Sunseeker leadership team started their careers as apprentices themselves.
