Kizi has been hairdressing for 21 years. She started her career as a trainee with Toni & Guy Essensuals Flagship salon in Covent Garden where she was quickly promoted to Head Assistant. She regularly assisted Sasha Mascolo-Tarbuck and worked with Antony and Pat Mascolo on many British Hairdressing Award Photoshoots for Finalists and Winners on multiple categories, including Avant Garde, Men’s Hairdresser, London Hairdresser and Newcomer of the Year. She left her first salon after achieving her Premier Stylist Level, in order to become self-employed and do more session work. She grew a large and loyal clientele in the D’arblay Street Salon where she was an Art Director for 5 years. Leading the team in education and working on photoshoots for various up and coming bands, fashion designers and models.
Kizi always knew she wanted to teach and decided to study for her Certificate in Education in 2009-2010 at the University of Westminster where she won an “Outstanding Student of the Year Award”.

Kizi and her young family moved down to Bournemouth in the summer of 2018 and when her youngest child turned 1 she applied to work at the college as a teacher as she felt the time was right to get back to teaching and training young hairdressers. She loves her role of trainer assessor looking after the training of BPC’s Apprentices from all over Dorset and Hampshire, and liaising with Salons to create a great experience for all involved. Most recently Kizi has been involved in the rebranding project which has seen the ReNew Salons brand moving towards more sustainable ways of working. “It is something very close to my heart, and I hope that by teaching our young apprentices to be aware of the impact that we can have by making small changes to the way that we work, we will create a generation of future hairdressers/beauticians and salon owners who naturally work sustainably and make decisions which have a positive impact on our environment as well as creating wonderful client experiences through their knowledge and expertise.”
